The Southeast Bullitt Fire Department was established in 1979. Southeast Bullitt Fire Department is located at 1515 Clermont Rd Shepherdsville, Ky 40165 in Bullitt County, KY.
Happy National First Responders Day, to all of the men and women who have answered and still continue to answer the call. The dedication, courage, honor, integrity that each of you show, to show up for your communities goes beyond words that anyone could explain.
To the families, spouses, children, we say thank you for sharing your loved ones with us. These individuals have put in numerous hours of training to run towards what others run from and we couldn’t do this with each of them.
Each of you shows altruism. Altruism is the unselfish concern for and devotion to the well-being of others, often involving actions that benefit someone else at a personal cost or without expecting a reward.
So to each of you, enjoy your day and thank you for everything you do!
A special shout out to Jim Beam, as they are hosting a first responders day from 10am-2pm. They have a section set up at their outpost back behind the kitchen. Displaying their apparatus and appreciation to all first responders. Thank you Jim Beam for taking the time to set this up and honor those who serve the communities!

Today P2 traveled to Lebanon Ky to pay respects and to honor Firefighter Robert Carol Mattingly.
We were also tasked with providing coverage for Loretto Fire and Raywick Fire Departments, as they took the time to lay their brother to rest.
Firefighter Robert Carol, take your rest. We have it from here sir!

Looking for another trunk or treat opportunity?!!
Tomorrow October 18, 2026 we are hosting our annual trunk or treat event! This event will take place at Bernheim Forest, from 4pm-7pm.
We will be set up in Parking Lot D. If you have not been to Bernheim Forest before:
⬆️You will enter through the main gate.
⬅️Come to the first stop sign and keep left.
⏫️You will go past the visitor center that is located on the right side of the road up the hill.
⬆️You will come to a second stop sign, and continue straight.
🎃Once you go through the second stop sign, parking will be on the right. Festivities will be on your left.
🚧Signage and markers will be located through out the park to help guide you back to the amazing festivities.
🚗If you have a trunk that you are setting up, please try to arrive before 4pm so we can have you set up before guest start arriving.
We have several trunks and some food vendors that will be onsite. The weather is looking great for tomorrow. It could be a little chilly as the sun starts to set, however, we will be there with all your candy favorites.
This is a FREE public event! Tell your friends, your neighbors, your cousins, and all!
We will have community members participating, emergency service vehicles will be there, Bernheim Forest and their staff will be there. You will have a chance to see the giants and so much more!!
In closing, we cannot express how excited we are to see you all on tomorrow. The event starts at 4pm and we are shooting to end at 7pm.
